The Art of Being a Mom

Hey mamas!

This past year has been a challenge... Amiright?. I had my son one week before the pandemic was declared. Like many of you, I didn't have the maternity leave or the first time mom experience I had imagined. But what helped me express all of the feels from the past year was picking up my paintbrush and letting it all go on a canvas. I enjoyed the experience so much that I told myself I wanted to share it with all of you!

So, I created this workshop for you, dear mamas, and thanks to a grant I can share this workshop with you for FREE. All you have to do is choose the date among the four available that suits you best.

No experience needed.

Step by step, I will guide you to create your masterpiece. You will learn how to express your experience of the past year using abstract painting techniques to create an expressive piece of art as unique as you. You will learn how to let your intuition guide your creation in a welcoming and safe environment.

In addition, you will receive $30 to help with babysitting and / or gas to get to the workshop. So there is no excuse! Take a moment for yourself and come create, express and share with other moms.

Places are limited. Register today by clicking here.

This free workshop is for moms (in its inclusive sense: transgender men and non-binary people included) in Prescott and Russell who gave birth/or adopted a baby during the pandemic.

*A special additional workshop::

All moms who participated in a workshop will be invited to come back for a special mom and baby collaborative workshop on December 10 at the Family Centre in Hawkesbury.
