New Moon Manifesting for 2023: a Transformational Painting Experience for Women

The New Moon is a time of manifestation. With the New Moon in Capricorn, it reminds us to focus on our long term goals. As the last New Moon of the year, it is the perfect time to think about our future goals and set intentions to accomplish them.

In this workshop, we will work with the energies of the December New Moon to create an intuitive and expressive painting that will help you express and manifest what you desire for the new year.

Through guided meditation and reflective writing, you will tap into your natural intuition and bring out the manifesting energies onto the canvas. Once finished, you will have created an abstract piece of art as a visual expression of your experience and as a reminder of the goals you have set for yourself.

No painting experience needed.

Materials:

- Canvas (16x20 or bigger)

- acrylic paints: black, white, red, blue, yellow, brown (other colours optional), silver too if possible

- white paper plate (or palette for paints)

- 3”x3” piece of rigid cardboard

- small paint brush

- small sponge

- white or clear liquid glue

- materials to create textures: straw, toothpick, pipe cleaner, plastic fork, bubble wrap, etc

- old magazines or newspapers

- paper towels

- container with water

- apron

- pen and paper

Also bring a water bottle and an open and receptive mind.
