Visual Arts Classes for Kids (English)

Whether your child makes art every day or has never really created much, my classes are designed for all levels of budding artists. I adapt the content of my lessons according to the level of each child in order to create a fun and positive experience for your child.  All children are creative. All they need to tap into that natural creativity is a space and the chance to exercise their curiosity so they may discover their innate talents.  In my class, children will have the chance to learn how to create with several mediums such as painting, drawing and  sculpture.  They will practice various techniques by working with a variety of visual arts materials in fun projects which I adapt according to the child'd age.  

 The materials 

All materials are included in the registration fee. Some materials will be shared in the class (paint, pastels, paper, etc.) and others will be given in a kit to the artist. The artist will be responsible for bringing their kit to each class. 

The kit includes:

- two graphite pencils 

- an eraser 

- a sketchbook

- two blending stumps

- paintbrushes* 

- papers* 

- a canvas* 

*note that these items will only be given at the start of their respective project to ensure artists have their materials in the classroom 

Class Dates: 

Saturday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

From October 22 to December 17, 2022 

Please note that a minimum of 5 registrations is required to offer the course.
